Wayne at the pool – 1969

This picture was published in Surf International in the year that it was taken, but never since. I (John) was delighted to find the negs I shot that day, including the picture that I call Arcadia, in almost 100 rolls that I’d never proofed. Wayne looks as if he’s been cast in bronze.
